Account Executive

As a dynamic and growing organization, we are looking for an experienced account executive that can move the meter. We know who the decision-makers are, but we need your skill set to have them join the growing ranks of Papilia customers. Reports to the VP of Sales.
Opportunity:
We are looking for an accomplished software sales professional whose history in achieving and exceeding revenue targets will propel this compelling new firm's success in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and close existing customer opportunities with leading account prospects in Papilia’s target marketplace: the multi-billion dollar non-profit arena.
- Partner with Papilia’s sales executives to develop sales strategies and close new accounts. Consistently exceed quota, drive sales processes to closure.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Papilia's software and service. Simultaneously, become knowledgeable of competitors, potential competitors and company's distinctive strengths and advantages.
- Become educated and well informed about the nonprofit arena and related industry trends, including online management, fundraising and e-community building
- Establish a disciplined process for identification of key accounts, their organizations and target programs for account win activity. Develop a select list of high profile customers for reference.
- Provide customer feedback to marketing and engineering on competitive selling issues and subsequent strategies for winning.
- Provide accurate future business forecasts to executive management
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Experience & Skill Required:
- Experience selling related products/services where quotas were exceeded over a minimum of 2 years of solid sales experience selling software, preferably CRM or email marketing solutions; or software as a service. At least one Work experience for #1 or #2 company in it’s sector
- Outstanding track record in building revenue streams in a startup environment and/or new territory complemented by solid sales training and background in Fortune 2000 organization is ideal.
- Strategic/consultative sales capability combined with effective tactical skills and an ability to close business.
- Has a well-founded sense of what motivates customers with the ability to acquire and retain those customers.
- Will be known as a highly motivated sales executive experienced at moving quickly to establish sales success for a company's products.
Desirable:
- Experience selling software as a service
- Experience selling CRM or email marketing solutions
- Experience selling to the nonprofit sector
Education:
BA/BS required; MBA desirable.
